The Gloucestershire Bird Atlas

An illustrated talk by Gordon Kirk, organised by the Forest of Dean Area Group.

For four years, hundreds of volunteers have surveyed the whole county, recording and counting birds. The results of their work will be published in 2013 in “The Birds of Gloucestershire” – the first of its kind for our county. Come along to hear about the findings and to get a flavour of what the book will look like.

This event has been organised by the Forest of Dean Area Group of the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust. Non members are welcome at all our meetings. For further details contact the Area Group chairman Philip Mugridge on 01594 510384.
